Anyway, I told Lorry on Wednesday that I'd update here saying how it went at the doctors. And I didn't. So I will now. It turns out that there actually is a nice doctor at the surgery. And as luck would have it, she's the one I saw. She checked over one of my problems (which you really don't want to hear about) and said it's probably just "one of those things". She isn't antiM.E (woo!), and when we mentioned the whole panic-over-every-tiny-health-problem thing, she decided that she'd give me blood tests just to reassure me that there's nothing wrong, and kept assuring me while we were there that she wasn't worried about it and that they were definitely just to put my mind at rest. She also gave me antidepressants that she said shouldn't interfere with my microgynon, although she seems to be very wrong, as I'm now in the 9th day of my period (I know you really wanted to know that.) I'm also feeling very weak and getting the shakes quite a lot, so I need to see her again and sort something out really. But, yes, blood tests next Thursday, and hopefully then I won't get quite so worked up about stuff. Hopefully.

I keep finding more and more reasons why I should drop English, and yesterday I was given another one. I went into college only to find out the lesson was cancelled and I had no way of getting home. Which was wonderful. Everyone else had been told in personal tutorial, which I don't go to, that there'd be no lesson. Only 3 of us weren't there, so you'd think that the tutor would try calling us to let us know, particularly as she knows two of us have M.E. She's truly wonderful, is my English tutor. Oh yes.

And I woke up about every 45 minutes last night. And didn't go to college today.

I feel bad for being so negative and whingey, but if I can't do that in my own diary, where can I?
