More updates on my thrilling life... well firstly, I can't quite understand the reason behind certain people doing certain things. There really is no point to it, but if that's how they wish to waste their time, then fair enough. Home life is much the same as always, although things with my dad got a bit much on Monday night, so I found other ways to calm myself down. Wednesday was my English mock, which was fine, apart from brain fog affecting my ability to write in English and the fact that I did 5 pages of writing in about 90 minutes. Wooo me. Which brings me to Thursday, a day that excited me muchly, as I went somewhere that wasn't college! Woooo again. I went to the PPV awards. It's a local thing for voluntary organisations and the volunteers in them. AYME was nominated for team/group, but Victim Support won it. Mum had a nice chat with Sue, it was really nice to see Tarly again, and Katie and I discussed regional plans, which will hopefully be put into action very soon. I also saw Kellie, who I know from college, there, as she's an MV and was collecting her stuff for completing 100 hours. Incidentally, anyone who's done MV hours, did you get a t-shirt? It's really the most exciting thing on the planet! And I've spent a while lately bouncing around at the fact that I'm going out twice this month to somewhere other than college. That is, assuming the Sparrow, Blackbird & Pigeon that I'm planning on seeing don't all decide that coming anywhere near me is a really bad idea and cancel. Oh, and I have a horsepiddle appointment for May, which I may not have mention. It’s sort of related to the lump I had, meaning it’s in the same area, but a different problem. Ahhh, I love making no sense. And I also love stripping off for doctors. Oh yes. |
